DAY 3 - Wednesday, 18th 0f October, 2023
Wednesday the 17th of October was not the lucky day of this mobility. Unfortunately, extreme weather conditions forced the Civil Protection Agency to issue a danger warning for all the metropolitan area of Lisbon, asking citizens to stay indoors in order to avoid getting hurt or involved in an accident. Indeed, the weather was really out of the ordinary and it seems that staying at home was the safe choice for everyone, locals and visitors alike.
Yet, we didn't allow this misfortune get into the way of our cooperation. We held an online meeting during which all participating delegations got involved into a fruitful conversation about the impact of human activity on the environment. The highlight was an online game that students played, created by the Greek delegation, on the topic of the importance of forest ecosystems and their protection. Power of cooperation has always been in unity.
